Kailey grew up on the South Shore of Long Island, New York where she’d spend her summers jet-skiing and boating on the Great South Bay along the shores of Fire Island. She took great pride in being her dad’s first mate at a young age as he showed her the ropes of boating. Her childhood spent out on the water is what made her fall in love with boating and ultimately led her to career pivot from the legal field in New York City into the marine industry at Strong’s Marine. Kailey’s tenure at Strong’s Marine began as the Yacht Sales Coordinator, where she acquired extensive knowledge in the business development and marketing sectors of the industry before she officially advanced to Sales Consultant. Her preliminary experience now helps her better serve her clients’ needs throughout the sales process, whether they are buying or listing a boat. One of her favorite memories since joining the industry was when one of her very first clients told her he just found out he was in remission and had a “new lease on life” and that he was ready to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning a boat, something he had postponed his whole life. It was then that Kailey knew there is so much more to this industry. She is passionate about what she does because she helps make families’ boating dreams a reality and she aims to keep that goal at the forefront of every sale. Kailey loves seeing her clients happy and helping them get out on the water to create the same lasting memories she had growing up. When she’s not working, she’s out on the boat or at the beach with family and friends in the summer. She also spends her free time traveling, painting, snowboarding, reading and practicing Pilates.
